Shelby Murphy

Certified Personal Trainer

Remember what it felt like when you were 8, to move freely, to express yourself completely… without inhibition, without self-censorship? The world was your playground, and you felt alive in your skin. You loved to dance, to skip, to jump, and to run, because movement was your body’s only purpose. Exercise wasn’t a chore -- something you had to pencil into your planner just after your appointment with the dentist. It was a state of being. And it came as easy as breathing.

My goal is to reignite your natural love affair with movement. Let me help you rediscover your craving for the freedom that a strong, healthy body can bring. Together, we’ll realign your inner self and your outer self, so that your body more accurately reflects the woman you are inside. Whether you want to tighten up post-pregnancy, eliminate the physical and emotional squishiness from years of inactivity, or cast off a 40-pound buffer between you and the rest of the world, let me be your guide, your confidant, your push forward, and your soft landing on what will most certainly be an extraordinary ride.

My mission is simple – to empower women like you to live life on purpose. That is the reason I write my column, RadiantWomen, a weekly source for thoughtful inspiration, for thousands of readers online (www.radiantwomen.com). It is the reason I write feature articles for health, fitness, and women’s magazines. And it is the reason I train clients at LifeForce Personal Fitness. The intimate understanding of women I’ve gained from my readers’ candid correspondence, from my clients, and from my own experiences as a woman and mother help me train women with a unique insight and ability to motivate. Even though I’m proud of the hundreds of bylines I’ve earned in local and national publications over my 11 year writing career, and the athletic accolades I’ve earned over a lifetime, it is my work helping other women take their lives to the next level that fills my soul.

If you’d like to know more about me, or more importantly, how I can help you achieve the quality of life you deserve, call me at 512-576-5057. The next step is yours…
